On March 20th, 2009, the Earth Society Foundation awarded the Tarumi Violinists The Earth Trustee Peace Certificate for their valuable contribution towards peace.
On January 18th, 2009, the World Professional Martial Arts Organization awarded the Tarumi Violinists an award for their work as Musical Ambassadors of Peace and Goodwill and awarded Mrs. Yukako Tarumi an award for Outstanding Musical Director and Humanitarian. The awards ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden.
In February 1996, this letter of recognition was provided by the Vatican’s radio station, Radio Vaticana, for the recording of the group’s performance followed by the one for Pope John Paul II at Vatican. The recorded music was aired three times globally.
